First thought, this is the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. I like leaving detailed reviews. I look for the most telling reviews when selecting an Airbnb, so here you go! The house is literally adjacent (half a block) to the biggest and most famous church in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia de Gaudí, you can see it from the rooftop really well, or your balcony. The church itself is incredible, the interior and tower trips are utterly spectacular. The neighborhood is central to lots of sights and right next to a metro station as well and literally on top of or next door to cafe, bakery, restaurants, small grocers, pharmacies etc. We usually rent a car but you really do not need to in Barcelona, and the metro is the most commonly used transport by all locals and quite frequent and swift. Everything is in its right place and cute and clean. Comfortable, calm and pretty quiet. I am a light sleeper and I did okay. No car or street noise at all, just maybe neighbors moving about, and quiet by 9:30 PM/21:30 or so. The thermostat is easy to control, air and heat work great. Staff speaks good English if you cannot speak Catalunya. It is a small apartment, but it has all you could need. It’s modern and functional and the kitchen is great. Perfect for a couple, perfect for a small family, fine for two couples, only possible downside is sharing a shower. In our personal instance there was a technical issue out of our control and the customer support team took care of our needs and concerns and went incredibly far beyond what we asked, and promptly. They were the best we’ve experienced in any service industry based setting. Very kind, prompt and professional! We couldn’t be any happier. Small side note, Pierre was the gentleman who helped us the most. He was humble, charming, friendly, and very pleasant! In American terms, HE WAS AN AWESOME DUDE!!!!
Thank you very much for this great and complete feedback! It makes me very happy to know that staying in our apartment has been the best Airbnb experience you've ever had. It is true that the neighbourhood is lively but quiet and that you have everything walking distance from the apartment. I hope your friend is feeling better. It has been a real pleasure meeting you and assisting you during your stay. Next time you come to Barcelona I will be very happy to host you again.

We stayed there starting on Xmas 2018. Two families with 4 young children. The location was excellent. Just around the corner from Las Ramblas and the Dessannes subway stop (and a bus which goes up Las Ramblas) (Side note: Public Transit in Barcelona is *excellent* - so convenient. Goes everywhere. Short waits. Clean. Easy access to airport. Why can’t LA have this?) The unit itself was great. Newly remodeled. Comfortable beds. Strong showers. Clean, safe. But I really want to commend the folks at EnjoyBCN. This was our first trip to Barcelona, and I had several questions/concerns (and I read some shady reviews about other operators). They always answered promptly and accurately. They even answered my questions on Xmas morning!!! (We were flying in on Xmas from London, which was basically closed, so I had questions on how to get to the unit and also whether any restaurants would be open) They also remembered my earlier question on a late checkout and had an answer waiting for me at check-in. They stored our luggage on our date of departure at their HQ (which is in a great area and in a cool building - they are on the 19th floor and offer a 360 panoramic view of the city. It’s a great way to get your bearings) I found our unit via VRBO.com, and I went through them to pay, but I would have no problem recommending going directly through EnjoyBCN. They are professional and super helpful.
We are so happy to see that you had such a great stay at the apartment and a fantastic vacation in Barcelona.
It is also so great that you felt so well taken care of. We are always ready to help! The truth is that we do a great effort everyday to make you feel at home and this wonderful review encourages us to keep on doing a good job.
It has been a pleasure for us to host you. We hope to see you again soon!

We had a great stay in this unique apartment in Barcelona... our two boys loved the upstairs loft area and changing lights. My wife and I loved the view out the fully opening window. We were fortunate enough to be there over new year's eve and enjoyed eating our grapes, drinking cava and watching fireworks over the city... very memorable.. What's better than the apartment is the EnjoyBCN staff.. They were extremely helpful with everything. They even let us store our bags with them while we were waiting for our airport taxi and enjoy the views of the city from their office windows. Would highly recommend this apartment in particular, but get the feeling you can't go too wrong with EnjoyBCN in general.
We are so glad to see that you had such a great stay at the apartment and had a great stay during New Year's Eve. It is also so nice to see that you felt well taken care of by our team and also that you could enjoy our 360º views from our office. They are great, aren't they?
It has been a pleasure to host you. We hope to see you soon in Barcelona!

The apartment was extremely clean and easy to get to. We took the airport bus and it was an easy walk. Coming from the US, you will probably arrive early and have to store your luggage until check in at 3PM, unless they didn't rent the apartment the day before. You can store bags free at their office where you can relax and enjoy one of the best views of Barcelona in one of the tallest buildings in the area. Make sure they explain how the electronic key works. It's not hard once you get the hang of it but if you've never used one, it may take a few tries. The WIFI was fast and you will be close to restaurants, public transportation and small groceries to purchase supplies. Be prepared to bring an adapter if you're an American. We did find a store 1 1/2 blocks away which sells them if you don't have one. Placa Cataluna is where the Hop on/Hop off buses are and several nice sightseeing options are close or easy to get to by Metro. There is an elevator. In the kitchen, there is a dishwasher, coffee pod machine, small cleaning supplies, fridge, etc. There are two bathrooms although one shower is a bit smaller than the other. When leaving, you will be asked to take out the trash to the street bins. You leave the keys inside and close the door. This has nothing to do with the apartment, but if you want to visit popular attractions, such as Sagrada Familia, purchase your tickets well in advance or they may be sold out. Everyone was very nice at EnjoyBCN and we appreciated all of their help with questions and arrangements. You can call or text them using Whatsapp using WIFI if need free calling. If this apartment doesn't work for you, they have others which may work out just as well or better!
Dear Mary, Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed comment!
We are so happy to see that you had such a great stay at the apartment and felt well taken care of. Regarding the adapters, next time do not hesitate to ask us for them, as we have some for our American guests. It is also so nice to see that you enjoyed our new office that much. We are more than welcome to come back next time you visit Barcelona!
It has been a pleasure to host you. We hope to see you soon!
