Terms and conditions

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

In order to confirm a reservation you will have to pay 25% of the total amount (this amount may vary depending on the time of the year; for last minute reservation the total amount must be paid). You can pay this amount by credit card or by bank transfer. The bank transfer costs will have to be paid by the client. 

At EnjoyBCN the minimum age to be able to rent is 30, unless there are minors of 30 coming with family or a company. It is neither allowed to host groups that come to bachelor parties or those who come to watch a European soccer game. 

The reservation will not be effective until the staff at EnjoyBCN confirm it by email. 

The remaining 75% will be paid later. Please see the How to book section for more details. 

We may require a prepayment of 50% of the total amount for those reservations of more than two weeks. Please ask our staff first. 

If you should need an invoice, please let us know when make the reservation. You should then send us all the details to prepare the invoice (corporate name, address, VAT, etc.). We are not  allowed to invoice those companies that do not hold a European fiscal number. 

After your departure and having checked that you left the apartment in good condition, EnjoyBCN will release the amount held on your credit card as a deposit

We will contact you by email some weeks prior your arrival to check your personal data (flight number, arrival time, passport, birth date and cell phone). 

Children under 2 do not have to pay anything.

All the apartments have a baby cot and a baby chair.     
 

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your reservation, EnjoyBCN has the following cancellation policy:

  • If cancelled within 60 to 89 days before your check in date, EnjoyBCN will proceed to refund 70% of the prepayment.
  • If cancelled within 30 to 59 days before your check in date, EnjoyBCN will proceed to refund 50% of the prepayment.
  • If cancelled within less than 30 days before your check in date, no refund shall be done by EnjoyBCN.
  • If cancelled once the customer is already in the apartment, EnjoyBCN can retain 100% of rental apartment if deemed.

For the above reasons, we recommend you to have a travel assurance with coverage in case of cancellation.

 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS

Payment conditions:
Pre-payment 25% of the total amount in order to confirm the reservation.
The pending balance (75% of the total) shall be paid 30 days before your check in date.

Cancellation policy:
If cancelled within 60 days prior your arrival, EnjoyBCN will proceed to charge the pre-payment (25% of the total amount).
If cancelled within 30 days prior your arrival, no refund shall be done by EnjoyBCN.


HOW TO CHANGE A RESERVATION

In order to change a reservation, please contact us by email or telephone.

CLEANING

The cleaning will be done right after the client departure. When you make a reservation for more than 6 nights, EnjoyBCN will provide an extra full cleaning service free of charge, approximately halfway through the stay. For shorter stays rehearsals. 

 

DURING YOUR STAY

Our Services: Transfer Services, Laundry Service, Business trips, Luggage Storage, Catering Service, Parking, concierge Service. (available under availability)
Beside this list of services, we work with other recognized companies in the industry with endless extra service. Some of them are: Trip4real, Guidego, Hotelextras.

RULES OF CONDUCT

You will have a telephone on duty Monday to Sunday so that you can contact our EnjoyBCN staff outside our office hours, in case you have an emergency related to the apartment. You will also have an email so that you can send us questions and issues during the week. 

Remember we could also offer a variety of extras (baby stroller, baby crib, parking, ticketing) and suggestions to make your stay unique (restaurants, events, ...)

There are several rules of conduct and behaviour that all guests in the apartment will have to follow:

GENERAL RULES

  • Smoking is prohibited in the apartment.
  • Parties are not permitted. Please be quiet while neighbours are sleeping and do not make any noise in the apartment or in the communal areas of the building. Hours of silence: Monday - Friday: 10 pm to 9 am and Saturday - Sunday: Midnight to 10 am.
  • It is not permitted for more people to stay in the apartment than the number stipulated in the reservation.
  • Please do not throw anything onto the street or into the inner courtyards.
  • Please dispose of the rubbish in the containers nearest your apartment. In the EnjoyBCN folder you will find a map showing the location of these containers.
  • Please remember to turn off the lights and the air conditioning whenever you leave the apartment.
  • For your own safety, we RECOMEND DOUBLE LOCK the door whenever you leave the apartment. If the building in which your apartment is situated has a passage, please ensure that the passage door is locked between 9 pm and 8 am.
  • Remember that the apartment has a safe deposit box. When you go out, we would advise you to take no more than what you need to spend the day (in tourist areas there may be pickpockets).
  • In the event that you lose a key, or it is stolen, please let us know as soon as possible. The penalty for losing a key is €50.
  • The towels are strictly for the bathroom: They must not be used as beach towels or as cloths for cleaning.
  • If the building in which your apartment is situated has a communal terrace and/or swimming pool, its hours of use are from 8 am to 10 pm, and access is prohibited outside of these hours. It is forbidden to have parties and play loud music. Rubbish should not be left on the terrace: It should be taken to the containers.

CHECK OUT RULES 

  • On the day of your departure, you must leave the apartment before 11 am as later.
  • The apartment must be left in good condition.
  • We will be grateful if you take out the rubbish and drop it into one of the containers on the street.
  • Before you go, please leave the keys on the table in the lounge/dining room (if, on arrival, you collected the keys from somewhere else, you do not have to return them to the same place: Please leave them in the apartment). Make sure that the windows are securely closed, and when you leave, close the main door to the apartment firmly behind you.
  • After your departure and having checked that you left the apartment in good condition, we will release the amount held on your credit card as a deposit. If you paid the deposit in cash, EnjoyBCN will transfer the amount to your bank account.

You will find on our web site (www.enjoybcn.com) all the apartments descriptions and details. The content is updated periodically. At EnjoyBCN we do our best to have the information up to date, but we are not responsible of any issue related to changes on the web site. EnjoyBCN has the right to modify prices, descriptions, conditions and photos anytime.

EnjoyBCN has the right to update or change any of the terms, conditions and rules anytime.

Our clients must make sure the terms, conditions and rules mentioned above are up to date. The use and agreement of the sections mentioned above implies the acceptance of these terms, conditions and rules, including any change that could be made in the future and always prior to your arrival to the apartment.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

EnjoyBCN is not responsible of any damage or any item lost during your stay, as well as any theft or lost in case of fire.

For your own security, most of the apartments have a magnetic key system that does not allow any previous client or any set of old keys to access the apartment.

Should you not follow these rules mentioned above, such as incorrect behaviour, complaints from the neighbours due to constant noise, or if the police has to come for any reason, EnjoyBCN has the total right to ask you to leave the apartment immediately. If that is the case you will not have the right to request any economic compensation and the deposit will not be refunded.

EnjoyBCN appreciate very much your understanding and help, and we hope you understand  all item above, as they are all crucial for everyone’s wellbeing.

Please note that all our apartments are located in residential areas where the neighbours' should be well taken care of.

 

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Once your reservation has been confirmed, a few weeks before your arrival in Barcelona, we will send you an email with all the information you will need for picking up the keys and entering the apartment.

Arrivals

A few days before your arrival in Barcelona, we will send you an email with the necessary instructions for entering the apartment. The keys can be collected in the same building where the apartment is situated, we have an inteligent and digital system to collect the keys, to do your check- in quicker and easier.

Please remember that the apartment will be available from 3pm. In the event that you arrive in Barcelona before 3pm, if you so wish, you can leave your suitcases up until the time that the apartment is available at a left luggage facility located in the centre of Barcelona, very close to Plaça de Catalunya or you could keep them in our office.

Also, if you have chosen the option of “payment on arrival”, we will send you an email with the details you will need to come and make payment at our office, located in the centre of Barcelona, at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 620, 5º 3ª, opposite the Coliseum Theater and one block away from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas.

If during the course of your stay there is any problem, something does not work, or something accidentally gets broken, please contact us as soon as possible so that the situation can be resolved swiftly. Our aim is to ensure that our guests are extremely comfortable and completely satisfied.

If you would like an EnjoyBCN staff member to come to the apartment to do the check-in or to collect the outstanding sum for your stay, please bear in mind that:

  • On Monday to Friday, check-in will be between 3pm and 8pm and you will be asked to pay €40 at the time of check-in.
  • At weekends and on public holidays (check-in from 10am to 12am only), you will be asked to pay €25 at the time of check-in.

Departures

Please remember that you will have to check-out before 11am.

If you would like to check-out later, please let us know as soon as possible. We will check if it's possible to make the change.

Please note that there is a surcharge to check out after 11am.

Late Check outs have an additional cost:

  • Check out between 11am and 2pm: 40€
  • Check out between 2pm and 8pm: 80€
  • Check-out after 8pm: A full extra day will be charged.

If you so need a place to leave your suitcases after checking out of the apartment, you can contact us and leave them in our office  or at a  left luggage facility located in the centre of Barcelona, very close to Plaça de Catalunya.
